I don't know if it's true today but when my son was in school, he wasn't allowed to defend himself from a bully. The school would suspend both students even if it was self defense. So I gave him the "talking to". Wait till after school, off school property and whip the $hit out of the bully or I'll whip you when you get home. Bully never bothered him again!
