Today, there are over 25,000, all using the same basic scripture, and most coming to different conclusions on the meaning. This is precisely what happens when every Tom, Dick, and Harriet departs from the faith "once delivered by Christ to the apostles to last for ALL times" as described in the Epistle of James. Nothing was to be added and nothing taken away.

It will never be a legitimate ordination. Next, they put their imprimatur to homosexuality. Other denominations have followed suit because they have made the same sinful error of thinking the Church is a democracy where power now emanates from the people and then benevolently offered up to God for Him to accede. In the common vernacular these people are damn fools.

During the Diocletian persecutions of the early Christians, the Romans, (attempting to show mercy and allow an "out" because thousands of Christians had already been murdered for not denying or compromising their faith), came up with a plan. They decided to march Christians thru a building call the Panthian, which contained all the pagan God's, monoliths, holy rocks, etc., that the Romans had captured during their many conquests. Within the pantheon was a constant burning brazier in which a worshipper would toss a pinch of incense to honor all the gods. All that was required for the Christians to save their lives was to take a little pinch of incense, toss it on the fire in the presence of a guard and walk away free. Thousands died because they couldn't compromise their faith even for a little pinch of incense. When that didn't work, the Romans decided they would have the guard turn his back so he couldn't observe the tossing of a mere pinch of incense. Many more Christians gave up their lives because they would not compromise their faith and give any recognition to false gods. In desperation the Romans offered a final plan. Simply walk through the Panthion and make believe you're tossing a little pinch of incense but thousands of additional faithful Christians gave up their lives instead of compromising their faith. Today, churches like the Episcopal, throw shovels full of incense on the pagan fires. This one simple, sinful, clerk didn't compromise her faith and the modern Roman persecutors threw her in prison.
